What is the benefit to having a repair done instead of purchasing a new prop?
Repairing your existing prop avoids the typical new-prop selection questions like diameter, pitch, and spline count. A repair keeps your current setup and gets you back on the water without needing to match a replacement.
Why in some cases is it about the same cost to repair a prop as it is to replace it with a new one?
This can happen with some aluminum props. A low-cost replacement may use thinner blades, but if your existing prop is thicker, the repair is done to match that original thickness.
Can I change the pitch of my prop?
Yes. Pitch changes can be made to very small degrees.
